Renee E. Broadbent, MBA Vice President of Information Technology
Renee Broadbent joined SOHO HEALTH as Vice President of Information Technology in January of 2021. Renee will direct all information technology initiatives and requirements. This will include a deep and integrated involvement in the technical aspects around ingesting, storing and disseminating data in a timely and secure manner.
Renee is a senior level healthcare executive with extensive background in strategic planning, information technology, population health management and data security. She has held the role of Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer in both hospital health systems and Managed Care Organizations (MCO).
Prior to joining SOHO, Renee served as Senior Manager at Wolf & Company, P.C. and as AVP of Population Health Information Technology and Strategy at UMass Memorial Health Care in Worcester, Massachusetts. While at UMass Memorial, she was a member of the leadership team that achieved $22 million in savings for the Accountable Care Organization. She also led the data and analytics team to help UMass Memorial Health Care achieve HIMSS Stage 7 Analytics for both inpatient and outpatient, only 2% of health systems in country achieve this honor.
Renee serves on a number of advisory boards related to technology and higher education and is Adjunct Professor at Southern New Hampshire University. Additionally, Renee is an accomplished author, publishing in a variety of healthcare related journals and periodicals.
