ACO PCP Incentive Program Update

A new program for incentivizing our MSSP ACO PCPs was started on January 1, 2017. This program replaces the 15% EMR subsidy that PCPs, and groups which contained PCPs, were receiving if they utilized Epic or Allscripts EMR. The SFHCP Board of Directors voted to terminate the EMR Subsidy program and replace it with this new program as per the recommendation of a physician committee.

All MSSP ACO primary care providers (MDs, DO, APRNs, PAs) with patient panels are eligible. Providers will earn points for meeting with their Regional Medical Director, attending All-Provider Education sessions and having staff meet with their assigned Health Coach from SFHCP. Each point will translate into a dollar figure based upon the total incentive pool, provided by Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center and the number of points earned by our providers. Please see the slides below.

The goal is for incentive payments to be received before the end of the year and to provide the opportunity to earn more incentive dollars than what was received via the EMR subsidy.
